CAJUN COWGIRLS DRILL TEAM

TLAFA is proud of the “Cajun Cowgirls" Drill Team which performs at our rodeos. The team is made up of young, local gals, (with a Mom and maybe a Grandma in the bunch.) They practice regularly and work very hard. They carry Sponsor flags and other beautifully colored flags and perform many precision routines during the rodeos and activities at the Houma arena, and are invited to participate around the country. Their horses are well groomed and well trained. It is a welcome sight to watch them perform.
Most of the Cajun Cowgirls drill team also enter other events at our rodeos, and are active participants around the State where you will most likely see them Barrel Racing, Pole Bending and other speed events. You will see them in Judged events also. They are dedicated riders, that is for sure.

"Flag Practice" is usually every Tuesday at 6:30 PM, but days and times are announced, or you can call Christine Grems at the numbers listed above.
